Matthew has been a member and staffer of Eastern Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited (ECU) for the past 15 years. He has transitioned through various portfolios, inter alia; Teller/Member Relations Officer, Credit Officer, Sales Officer and is currently a Branch Manager. Born and raised in the Borough of Arima, Matthew’s desire to positively influence and uplift others transcends into his community. His commitment to transforming and empowering the Credit Union Movement is manifested by his ongoing interest and participation in training and development via among others; CARIBDE and Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU). During his tenure at ECU, he has also obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from ROYTEC, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sunderland and an IMBA with a specialization in Marketing from the Arthur Lok Jack GSB, UWI. Matthew describes himself as a devoted husband and father, with a passion for athletics.
