PET  is  meant  for  single-use  applications  and  repeated  use



               increases the risk of leaching carcinogens and bacterial growth.










            2. Avoid the use of polystyrene. Polystyrene is used for disposable




               Styrofoam drinking cups, take-out containers, packing peanuts,



               and more.





               Polystyrene is not generally recyclable and should not be reused



               as it breaks apart easily and may leach  carcinogens into food




               products.










            3. Avoid the use of disposable goods such as lighters, paper cups



               and plastics. Once these goods are used, they must be replaced




               as they were made for one time usage.
